The curiosity to compare the cultural liveliness and the spirit of research of the sixties with the cultural climate of the early nineties was at the origin of the exhibition organized in the Baleri Italia showroom in 1993. For this occasion, a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered copies was made. Each of them is made up of 13 works, one by Gianni Colombo in wood, steel and glass and twelve works by the other artists present on the exhibition made on paper with mixed techniques: screen printing, lithography, engraving and collage.
Today, the exposure to the Kanalidarte Gallery with the 13 multiples exhibited alongside the original works, one for each artist, updates this comparison by inviting us to reflect on the contribution of new generations to contemporary society and on the importance of the search for the gestaltic avant-garde, still perfectly present, fifty years later.
