Selected solo shows include Match Gallery, Ljubljana and the galleries alexander levy, Berlin; COMA,Berlin; Nettie Horn, London and Christinger de Mayo, Zurich. She is the recipient of numerous awards and residency grants, i.a. by Kunstfonds Bonn; artist-in residence at Museumsquartier Vienna; and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). She lives and works in Berlin. Sinta Werner aims to interrogate our conventional ways of seeing and representing through elaborate fictitious environments. The creation of architectonic works notably contributes to her exploration of virtual and physical boundaries, the notion of intervals and “in-betweens“ alongside other such aspects linking the two and the three dimensional.
